An outdoor compressor/condenser unit and an indoor air handling unit are connected by a conduit that houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain. The tubing, located behind the indoor unit, exits the home through a small, three-inch hole, which is sealed to prevent drafts and moisture. Since the pump can't pump the water into the drain bucket, it fills the bottom pan up, the unit shuts down, and the P2 error code is then displayed. Wbenjamin Jun 30, 2011 It should be near the pump that pumps the water up to the drain bucket. Each model is different, on my Everstar it was located under the housing for the drain bucket.
The back and front of the unit needed to be removed, then the housing for the drain bucket needed to be removed. Not that hard, but a lot of screws. Take it out, then clean it with some dish washing detergent.
Answered 5 hours ago. Disinfectant? Wash with 1/2 cup bleach to 1 gal water. Splash of detergent optional. Mop and scrub with solution.
Wipe down with damp cloth. Scrub in dirty areas. Kills mold, moss, germs, organic orders (you know, the smelly stuff.). Reduce order? Same wash as above but less bleach. 1/4th cup or less.
Splash of fragrant detergent or dish soap. Note; DO NOT mix bleach and Mr. Clean or Ammonia! Toxic gas produced. Hard white deposits? (Calcium) Yes, white vinegar poured directly on calcified areas and let sit (it should foam up) use weaker solution for water spots. (3 parts water 1 part vinegar.
